Brownlow - A gentleman of wealth and breeding. Noah Claypoole - The Undertaker’s apprentice. Bumble - A pompous Beadle of the workhouse. Age 30-45.Īrtful Dodger - Fagin’s brightest pupil. Age 50-70.īill Sykes - A villain in his prime.

Age 8-12.įagin - An elderly receiver-runs a group of pickpockets. We encourage performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, body types, ages, as well as performers with disabilities, to audition. When Oliver is captured for a theft, Fagin conjures a plan to kidnap Oliver back, in fear of the safety of his hideout. Oliver escapes to London and finds acceptance amongst a group of petty thieves and pickpockets led by an elderly, Fagin. The streets of Victorian England come to life as Oliver, a malnourished orphan in a workhouse, becomes the neglected apprentice of an undertaker. Artisan Center Theater will be unable to accept conflicts after casting is done unless they are emergencies. It is critical that you let Artisan Center Theater know all of your conflicts when you register to audition.

If you are unable to attend, please send an audition video to You will still be required to complete all digital paperwork and come to callbacks in person if requested.

Roles may be double cast depending on actor availability.

Actors will be doing cold readings from the script.

There will be a dance component to the audition at call-backs for certain roles (bring appropriate footwear and dress to move).

Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song that best suits your vocal ability and a monologue that is no longer than 60 seconds.

September 1 - Octoperformances will be Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30pm, and Saturdays at 3:30pm and 7:30pm. (Not everyone will be called to all rehearsals)

Rehearsals begin Jand are generally Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 7:00pm – 10:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am – 2:00pm No rehearsals on Fridays.

Auditions will be held at Artisan Center Theater located at 444 East Pipeline Road, Hurst, TX 76053.
